The only thing I can say that I like about the upgrades for Photoshop is that it's adopted more of Illustrator's control palettes, such as their Character and Paragraph palettes, and the option to have each object clickable for editing, like Illustrator. I personally don't have Illustrator CS2 (I'm still with 9) but my Uni does and Deborah showed me their new enhanced 3D modeling capabilities.

I've read about many people complaining about the 3d feature in illustrator, but I find it, so ...easy-good!, of course, it's simply limited compared to blender and 3ds max, but I instantly figured it in illustrator (3d-->revolve...duh), it comes in handy, I once needed to do a six-pack of coke, I just drew a cylinder, messed around with it, and a few minutes later I had my six-pack. Woo.
hey, put it like this, it doesn't hurt anyone!...
NOW, the text glyph bs....
it altered the whole compatibility with previous versions of text. It splits the text, so if you want to select a word, you'll have to do it in parts.
I'm talking about cs though, never used the newer version :c
me=poor... XD

Me=poor too. I can only mess with the newer versions, and on Mac too, when I'm at school. I was pleasantly surprised with the new 3D features too because I've been fidling with Carrera and my brain imploded. But with Illustrator it seems to make things a lot easier. Thank goodness! Danielle

I can only say that I agree. I use the cs version of everything exept Golive where I use CS2 because I find it easier for css coding(and adobe bought macromedia so I'm guessing golive will become the standard after the next update.) And danielle there's nothing wrong with Mac in my opinion it's alot more stable. At least more stable then my old 700 mhz pc.
